Projects seeking help
Also consider posting WikiProject, Task Force, and Collaboration news at the Signpost's WikiProject Report page.
The Tip of The Day task force needs suggestions for new tips, help responding to suggestions, and copy-editors for approaching tips. Under five editors are barely keeping the project on its feet and any help would be geatly appreciated and barnstars may be awarded for excellent work.
The newly created WikiProject Women in Red is seeking editors to write articles about notable women.
The African football task force of WikiProject Football has just been created. Anyone with substantial knowledge on African football-related articles or anyone interested in African football is welcome to join!
Many of the pages in the Wikipedia namespace have specialized redirects called "shortcuts" that can be entered into the search box on the left side of your screen. Normally these shortcuts start with WP: and then a capitalized abbreviation for the page name. Some common shortcuts are: WP:DEPT, WP:FAQ, WP:FUN, WP:IMAGE, WP:VP, and of course, WP:TIP. A shortcut to the list of shortcuts is WP:CUT.
